For those looking to begin a career in either hairdressing or beauty therapy, there are numerous pathways to choose from, from Level 2 NVQs and VTCTs for beginners with little or no experience, to apprenticeships aimed at those who already work within the sector and wish to enhance their skills, earning while they learn. Colour Correction
Colour correction services are designed to adjust, correct or improve existing colour. This may include removing unwanted tones, correcting uneven colour, adjusting previous home or salon colour, or transitioning to a significantly different shade. As this is a specialist service, the final price and appointment length will be confirmed following a consultation.

Luxury Manicure
Includes the addition of paraffin wax mask or a foot mask and heated mitts. For manicures, you may wish to pay before treatment, as polish can take up to 25 minutes to fully dry and this helps prevent smudging.

Polite reminders when visiting Aspire Hair, Beauty, Barbering, Make-up and Aesthetics Salons
- Please remember this is a training environment. Treatments may take longer than in a commercial salon and will be closely supervised by a qualified tutor. We thank you for your patience while students develop their skills.
- Late cancellations or non-attendance can be disappointing for students and other clients. Wherever possible, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or rearrange an appointment.
- Unacceptable behaviour, including rudeness or verbal or physical abuse towards staff or students, will not be tolerated. Safeguarding is a priority at Solihull College & University Centre, and such behaviour may result in a permanent ban from the salons.
- Occasionally, appointments may need to be cancelled due to student illness, severe weather or other college-related circumstances. If this happens, we will always aim to rearrange your appointment as soon as possible.
- Some treatments may require a doctor’s note. This will be discussed during your consultation rather than over the phone.
- We welcome your feedback. Please ask at reception for a feedback form or contact us by email.
- Clients must be 16 years or over to access Hairdressing and Beauty Therapy services.
Beauty Therapy Packages
We offer a range of Beauty Therapy packages, which may vary throughout the year. Our reception team will be happy to advise on current offers and availability.
Patch testing is essential for some treatments.
Patch tests are required for hair colouring, tinting and some advanced treatments. These must be completed at least 48 hours before your appointment. Our reception team will advise you when booking. Consultation and patch test are complimentary when booking in for treatments.
Reception and payment information
The reception desk is open Monday to Friday for bookings and enquiries. Emails and phone messages will be responded to during these times only.
Payments are card only. Cash can be accepted only if card payment is not possible and must be the correct amount.
Unsatisfactory Policy
If you are not entirely happy with the service, we require you to let us know within 72 hours in order to correct and manage it.
